“Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness.” – Mark Twain

This is me.
A restless travelling soul who is born in Sweden in 1978 but emigrated to Czech Republic in 2006 and living here since. My travelling was rather restricted to western Europe and a week trip to Cyprus in 2004 before I moved to Czechia.

After moving to Czechia and becoming active in CouchSurfing, my travelling interest has exploded and nowadays I usually say that my hobby is to find cheap flight tickets and find ways to get days off from work to travel.

A lot of people are questioning how I manage to have so many days of vacation as I travel around 70-80 days per year.
I work, and I work a lot. Weekends, public holidays and so on.
To be able to take the overtime in days off instead.

My favourite destination so far has been Cambodia and Senegal
My dream destination is North Korea.
A travel dream I have is to drive through all countries ending with a -stan.

So many places to see, so little time to do it in.
I’m a history buff and is also interested in people and their stories.
By travelling I can try to understand the world and everything that is happening around us right here and right now.

A minor disclaimer.
Everything written on this blog is my own thoughts and experiences. However now and then a post or two are sponsored. That is just the way the cookie crumbles and it lets me travel further and experience more things to blog about. Thank you for reading.
